On the morning of September 2, the launching ceremony of the international workshop “Color Experiment in Animation” was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Academy of Fine Arts of Huanggang Normal University. At the invitation of the School of Fine Arts, Prof. Lia-Vilahur, Director of CEIDA and Professor of Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, came to the School of Fine Arts to conduct a 4-day international workshop. The opening ceremony was hosted by Prof. Shao Zhaopo, Vice Dean of the College of Fine Arts, with Ms. Yu Yinmei from the College of Foreign Languages as the interpreter. Prof. Yuan Zhaohui, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Xu Xian, Head of the Animation Department, and some teachers and students from the Chinese-foreign cooperative education program (animation) participated in this activity.
Prof. Yuan Zhaohui, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the College and presented a gift to Prof. Lia-Vilahur. Vice Dean Shao Zhaopo emphasized that this workshop is also part of the series of activities of the grassroots teaching organization of the Animation Department, and asked the teachers to actively participate in this kind of exchanges to enhance the international schooling and disciplinary vision.
After the opening ceremony, Prof. Lia-Vilahur conducted a workshop on color experimentation in animation for Chinese and foreign animation students in the College of Fine Arts. combining the experience of traveling in different countries during the study and work, Prof. Lia-Vilahur talked about the techniques and concepts of creation through the mood board and synthesis of creative techniques through his rich observation of life and artistic creation. Prof. Lia-Vilahur’s lectures are vivid and interesting, and have a positive effect on the students’ creative thinking, and he patiently answered the students’ questions during the teaching guidance, which benefited the teachers and students who participated in the activity greatly.
